Weddings by Tamara is a special events company, founded in 2011. Our job is to take the planning process and allow you to be the guest at your own event.

 

About Tamara Whiteurst

 

My love affair with weddings started when I was 8 years old and woke up early one July morning to watch Lady Diana marry her Prince.  

 

I grew up in a household where my mother loved to entertain our family and friends. We were known to have the best 4th of July, Thanksgiving and New Year’s parties. I would always attend parties and weddings with my family, I loved the excitement and planning involved. The design, music, food, and good company-what’s not to love?  My mother would always point out things that could have really made the events better, always pointing out the need to remember the little details and to remember your guests needs.  I possess many of my mother’s traits, including her eye for detail. In 2006 I began the process of planning my own wedding and realized the need to have a professional to walk a couple through the planning of what will be one of the most important days of their lives.
